Commemorative plaque for a monument
Whether it’s a park, a municipal building, or a public site, you want a name or message to remain clearly legible. Mauquoy creates signs and plaques tailored to the location: from a nameplate at an entrance to an information sign that tells visitors about the surroundings.
Description
What application are you looking for?
- Naming a location: a sign at a building, park, or public location.
- Informing visitors: a brief description of a site, building, or facility.
- Indicating a route or entrance: a sign that helps people find a location on a property.
- Updating existing information: replacing a damaged or hard-to-read sign while taking the existing surroundings into account.
What materials and sizes are suitable for outdoor use?
That depends on the location, the viewing distance, the amount of text, and the mounting method. For its existing outdoor and nameplates, Mauquoy uses materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and suitable plastics; other metals are also possible for engraved plates. We assess on a project-by-project basis which design best suits the intended use. A specific lifespan or standard size can only be discussed once a concrete choice of material and mounting method has been made.
From concept to delivery
Tell us what the sign should display, where it will be placed, and how it can be mounted. Based on that, we’ll discuss the size, material, text, and finish. Mauquoy engraves and finishes signs throughout Belgium and delivers or ships the finished product.
If on-site installation is desired, please indicate this in your request so that the options can be included in the proposal.
