The Story of Olav Engelbrektsson

Scandinavia Tour • Lier

A route becomes more engaging when visitors can discover the story behind each location at every stop. For the Scandinavia tour in Lier, Mauquoy created a round engraved plaque featuring an image and a QR code. At St. Gummarus Church, it directs visitors to the story of Olav Engelbrektsson on Visit Lier.

This gives a city walk a recognizable marker in public spaces, with room for further explanation online. The same principle can work for city walks, heritage trails, and bike tours.

We help raise your municipality's profile.

What do we need from you to get started?

A complete technical specification is not required for an initial consultation. This helps us quickly get a clear picture of your request:

  1. The location: where will the sign, panel, or plaque be placed? A photo or floor plan would be helpful.
  2. The purpose: Is it to help people find their way, learn something, or commemorate a moment?
  3. The content: What text, images, names, logos, or QR code destination do you want to use? A first draft is sufficient.
  4. The scope: How many locations or copies are there? Do you already have a format in mind?
  5. The timing and installation: When does it need to be ready, and does it need to be installed on-site?

You don’t have to have all the answers yet. Tell us what you’re working on, and we’ll discuss the possibilities together.

Discuss your project with no obligation

The Right Material and Size for Your Space

A plaque at a monument requires a different approach than a sign along a route. What fits in with the surroundings? How much text should it contain? From what distance should residents and visitors be able to read it?

Tell us what you have in mind

You don't need to know yet which sign or panel you need. Tell us about the location, the project, and what residents or visitors need to know, find, or remember. Then we'll determine which solution is right for you.
