Accessibility Test

Mauquoy is committed to making its digital services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. When needed, we will be working on improvements to meet the accessibility requirements set forth in the WCAG 2.1 guidelines (level AA).

A recent accessibility audit conducted by Think Tomorrow identified a number of areas of concern. Below we explain what issues were found.

We recognize that the current version of our website does not yet fully meet the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria, but believe that the website is sufficiently accessible to place an order.

Non-accessible parts

The following sections are currently (partially) inaccessible:

• Images without alternative text
  Screen readers cannot interpret this content. We are completing descriptive alt texts.
• Inadequate color contrast in texts
  Mostly in the footer, the contrast between text and background is inadequate for the visually impaired. This will be addressed during the restyling in Q4 2025.
• Invisible focus in keyboard navigation
  Users navigating by keyboard have difficulty seeing which element is active.
• Form elements without labeled links
  Some fields in the contact form lack correct HTML labels, making navigation with tools difficult.
• Heading structure is inconsistent
  The hierarchy of headings (H1, H2, H3, ...) is not logically structured on some pages.
