How do we customise your medal?
A medal can be designed in three ways:
Digital
A digital design is used to engrave the die. There are three options: 2D, 2.5D or 3D. In 2D, there are two relief surfaces, in 2.5D there are multiple transitions in the relief and in 3D, the relief is three-dimensional.
By an artist
A sculptor creates a work from a portrait, landscape, text... A negative is made from that work in plaster, with which we engrave the die we use to press your medal.
Via reverse engineering
Do you have an old medal that you want to have remade? We make a digital scan of this existing medal and after the necessary adjustments, the scan is engraved into the die.

Let’s get to work!
Once the die is engraved, it is hardened and the pressing of the medal begins. This is done in several stages:
• After each stroke, the disc is heated to red-hot before proceeding to the next pressing.
• Turning on a lathe for the round shape of the medal
• Sandblasting and bronze, silver or gold finishing
• A coat of varnish to maintain a beautiful finish
