Maker's mark

We have been recognised by the Royal Mint of Belgium as a manufacturer of maker's marks (signature stamps) for jewellery manufacturers.

⚠ We only make Maker’s Mark for Belgian jewellers and in accordance with Belgian legislation. ⚠

Description

We manufacture your master stamp.

We are approved by the Royal Mint of Belgium as a manufacturer of master stamps (stamp signature) for jewelry manufacturers. The legal set includes a master stamp and copper plate with three impressions.

  • It is made by milling engraving. It must represent a symbol that is in the barrel shape and must be approved by the Mint Master. Initials and/or numbers, both smaller than the symbol, may be added.
  • The symbol of the stamp, when impressed into a metal plate, must correspond as closely as possible to the adopted design and be visible in relief.
  • The size of the stamp is +/- 2.5 by 1.5 mm. Keep in mind that everything will be reduced in size and that too fine details are no longer possible.
  • We only need a clear black and white drawing (preferably in PDF) of the design.

Good to know.

The stamp must, as already mentioned, have a barrel shape. In addition, the symbol of the stamp, after imprinting in a metal plate, must correspond as accurately as possible to the adopted design and be visible in relief.

Beware

We only make Maker’s Mark for Belgian jewellers.
Every request is handled in accordance with applicable Belgian legislation and official procedures.
